Police, Coast Guard investigating backpacks hanging from Lewis and Clark Bridge


The contents of a suspcious item left on the Lewis and Clark Bridge near Longview turned out to be harmless. Investigators said two bags were connected to a rope that was tied to the bridge railing. During the investigation, traffic wasn't the only thing at a standstill. The bags were hanging about 30 feet above Dike Road. Sgt.
