Jets signing former Texans TE Griffin

The move comes after tight end Chris Herndon was handed a four-game suspension by the National Football League for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, stemming from a June 2018 drunken-driving arrest in New Jersey. Griffin spent the past six seasons with the Texans. Griffin was a sixth-round draft pick by the Texans in 2013.
