Amazon Prime Day Glitch: ₹9 Lakh Camera Gear Sold For ₹6500

21 July 2019

This is not the first time that this happens during Prime Day, according to Fuji Rumors.

Earlier this week, Amazon had a Prime Day season.

“We want to thank Prime members all around the world, ” said Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and CEO in a July 17 news release. Numerous buyers have already received their purchases, and once that happens, it would be incredibly hard for the company to attempt to get them back. "Huge thank you to Amazonians everywhere who made this day possible for customers".

In addition to more than 1 million toys, Prime members bought more than 100,000 lunchboxes, 100,000 laptops, 200,000 TVs, 1 million headphones, 350,000 luxury beauty products, 400,000 household pet products, and 650,000 household cleaning supplies. You can add untold millions of organic strawberries, cherries, and blueberries that went out the doors as the best-selling items at Whole Foods Markets where U.S. Prime members shopped.

Millions of purchased items were shipped in one day or faster with Prime Free One-Day, Prime Free Same-Day or Prime Now worldwide.

Ring and Blink devices doubled last year's Prime Day unit sales and the Echo Show and Echo Show 5 smart displays had their highest sales numbers ever. In response to Prime Day, major players such as Walmart, eBay and Best Buy came up with all sorts of promotions of their own.

Top sellers in the US were the LifeStraw Personal Water Filter, Instant Pot DU060 and 23andMe Health + Ancestry kits. In the United Kingdom, the most popular deals included the Sony PlayStation Classic Console, the Oral-B SmartSeries Electric Toothbrush, and the Shark Vacuum Cleaner.

It's not clear if these deals were legitimate or an error on Amazon's part. But reports say some of the sales from Amazon are probably going through.

There were users who were able to see the same price and place orders while there were other users who reported that they are still seeing the normal price of $550. For this year, the online retailer said Prime Day would be two days, 12 more hours than previous editions. They may increase sales for a day, but they arent creating a sustainable relationship with a one-time shopper looking for a deal.
