A hearing on Epstein's bail request is scheduled for early July 15.
His lawyers fetch no longer but commented on the payout claims.
Epstein plead not guilty in Manhattan federal court to charges of sex-trafficking and conspiracy.
But prosecutors opposed the request, alleging that late past year Epstein tried to influence the case by paying US$350,000 to two potential witnesses. They did no longer title the two participants that obtained the cash.
"Neither of these payments appears to be recurring or repeating during the approximately five years of bank records available to the government, " the documents said.
According to the New York Times, the allegation was revealed in a new court filing in which "prosecutors said that Mr. Epstein had paid significant amounts of money to influence individuals who were close to him and who might be witnesses against him at trial".
In seeking to keep the multimillionaire jailed pending trial, prosecutors in NY argued Epstein had a history of trying to obstruct inquiries into his misdeeds, including those from journalists.
"In this way, Epstein created a vast network of underage victims for him to sexually exploit in locations including NY and Palm Beach".
They cited his payments to imaginable witnesses and the risk that he would soar as causes to retain him in jail, while describing him as "unrepentant and unreformed".

In the previous case against him, Epstein was accused of abusing dozens of teenage girls between 1999 and 2007.
The US attorney Geoffrey Berman wrote that Epstein "has a history of obstruction and manipulation of witnesses" including incidents when he was under investigation in the state of Florida in 2006, but most recently following the Miami Herald's publication of series of articles examining how that Florida investigation resulted in a controversially lenient 2008 plea agreement on state charges and a federal non-prosecution agreement. Epstein has not been charged with any crimes in New Mexico.
Mr Acosta joined Trump on the White House lawn as the President announced the resignation, which he said was Mr Acosta's idea.
The failure of federal prosecutors in Florida to charge Epstein with the same crimes set off a political firestorm, leading to Acosta's resignation.
"It would be selfish for me to stay in this position and continue talking about a case that is 12 years old".
"Mr. Acosta will now have plenty of time and no distractions that prevent him from fully accounting for the sweetheart treatment Epstein received", he said.
Novel York-born Epstein labored as a teacher sooner than getting into into finance.
Before the prison instances in opposition to him, he became finest known for his wealth and high-profile connections.
He has always been surrounded by the rich and powerful, including President Trump, former President Bill Clinton and the UK's Prince Andrew. Terrific guy, ' Trump told NY magazine. "It's even stated that he likes lovely females as unprecedented as I attain, and a lot of them are on the younger facet".
Without the #MeToo movement, "we would not have seen the reopening of the case against Jeffrey Epstein and certainly would not have seen the level of outrage that's existing", said Yasmin Vafa, executive director of Rights4Girls, an advocacy organization that campaigns against sexual violence.
