Something odd is happening in Hawkins, Indiana - but this time in LEGO brick form, as the LEGO Group unveils its brand new set, LEGO Stranger Things: The Upside Down.

The Byers' house features a front porch with furniture, living room, dining room and Will's bedroom.

In a rehearsed conversation between the E3 and NX Twitter accounts, Netflix confirmed that it would be showing off the upcoming Stranger Things game. The Upside Down model of the Byers' house from the first season of Stranger Things can actually flip between the real world and the terrifying Upside Down where the Demogorgon searches for a lost Will Byers.

Just revealed by Lego, Stranger Things will come to brick-based nirvana next month with this 2,287-piece set, naturally titled "The Upside Down".

The Upside Down set captures the look and feel from the Netflix original series, including creepy vines, dark colouring and a dilapidated look. (It's available May 15 to Lego VIP rewards-program members.) Lego and Netflix last week teased that a "Stranger Things" toy was on its way in tweets last week.

Accessories include Lucas' slingshot and flashlight, Dustin's walkie-talkie and compass, Mike's flashlight and walkie-talkie, Hopper's coffee mug, Joyce's flashlight and drawing of "Will the Wise", and Eleven's waffle. According to io9, their set for the Netflix giant will embrace the show's "Upside Down" world by literally going upside down.

Also included is Chief Jim Hopper's police truck which includes a removable roof for easy access to the interior and a pumpkin element as a reminder of Season 2.

Lego's Upside Down playset measures 12 inches tall, 17 inches wide and 8 inches deep.
