Draymond Green Dared Kevin Durant To Leave In Free Agency

16 November 2018

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green said Thursday, November 15 (Friday, November 16, Manila time), he had settled his differences with teammate Kevin Durant and warned that the National Basketball Association champions would not "crumble" over their recent locker-room strife.

Houston thought he could be the piece it needed to finally get past Golden State and win its first championship since back-to-back titles in 1994-95.

Anthony signed a 1-year, $2.4 million deal with Houston on August 13 after clearing waivers after his release from the Atlanta Hawks.

After the game, despite the result, Green was still in a lighthearted mood, saying, "Thank God I got suspended", after playing 42 minutes in the Warriors' loss to the Clippers with a sprained right toe and sore right foot.

Houston's Chris Paul on the end of Anthony's time with the Rockets: "For Melo it's all about just him being happy".

'In the summer we tried to hit a home run and it didn't work out, ' coach Mike D'Antoni said. The Hawks drafted college sensation Trae Young, the diminutive, sharp-shooting guard who averaged 27.4 points per game in his lone season at Oklahoma.

The 34-year-old is a 10-time All-Star who has had a tough time over the last two seasons.

Young praised Doncic for his game and his character but said that it's he that will be considered the better of the two in the future.

After the Houston Rockets sputtered out of the gate this season (6-7), league sources told ESPN's Tim McMahon and Adrian Wojnarowski that the team is strongly considering cutting ties with the once superstar. He scored less than 10 points in six games, including a low of 2 points on 1-for-11 shooting in a 98-80 loss to the Thunder on November 8, his last game with the Rockets.

It's unclear what's next for Anthony, but Chris Paul, who has always been friends with him, knows he'll be OK.

"I was sore, really sore", Green said.
