Malibu burning: Kardashians, Lady Gaga, Cher fear for homes

Kim Kardashian and her three children were given just one hour to evacuate her home as wildfires swept through California.

Kourtney, 39, and her three kids Mason, Penelope and Reign also left their home, with the reality star sharing a screenshot of a news report and writing: 'This is so devastating and insane, my home is on this street.

Kardashian, who on Thursday evacuated the home she shares in nearby Calabasas with Kanye West, tweeted on Friday that she "heard the flames have hit our property. but now are more contained and have stopped".

"Pray for Calabasas", Kardashian West wrote on her Instagram story. "Pray everyone is safe".

Kourtney, 39, shared a photo with supplies packed into one of her vehicles, stating, 'I pray that everyone is safe and protected from these fires, ' adding, 'No Calabasas tonight'.

In the videos, Khloe wore a face mask and big sunglasses to protect her face from the low air quality and smoke. Unusual director Scott Derrickson.

The fire has burned more than 14,000 acres so far and all of Malibu is under mandatory evacuation. The fire broke out on Thursday northwest of Los Angeles and roared southward, jumping the US 101 freeway early Friday and sweeping into the Santa Monica Mountains.

Two large brush fires caused 75,000 homes to be placed under evacuation orders along the border of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.

Melissa Etheridge was also forced to evacuate, and tweeted that she was safe in Santa Monica.

Kim and her sister Kourtney, 39, both live in exclusive Calabasas, near their mother Kris Jenner and brother Rob.

Kris Jenner's neighbourhood was also evacuated, but she was in NY at the time watching Kendall storm the catwalk at the Victoria's Secret fashion show.

"Please send your prayers to the people of Thousand Oaks and the victims of the shooting that are now having to evacuate their homes and neighborhoods".

Thousands of residents were forced to evacuate as firefighters worked to contain the blazes. The Ventura County Fire Department has reported that more than 30,000 homes in the area are at risk.
