Bears-Vikings game moved to primetime

06 November 2018

The game, which was originally scheduled to be played at noon CST, has been moved to 7:20 p.m.

The NFL has moved the Vikings game at Chicago from Sunday afternoon to prime time on NBC on November 18.

25 home game against the Packers (3-4-1) is also scheduled to be on Sunday Night Football.

The original Sunday Night Football matchup, Steelers at Jaguars, has been moved up to 1 p.m. on CBS.

The Vikings are 5-3-1 and trail the first-place Bears (5-3) in the NFC North. The Eagles (4-4) now sit one game out of first place in the NFC East. It will now be 7:20 p.m. CST.

The Bears will wear their orange jerseys for the second time this season against the Vikings, having previously lost to the Dolphins 31-28 in overtime October 14 in Miami.

The changes come under the league's primetime flexible scheduling element, which was implemented in 2006 and was modified in 2014 to allow the NFL to reschedule games between Weeks 5 and 17.
