Prince Andrew shares family photos as royal bridal party confirmed

12 October 2018

From baking to bunting, preparations are under way ahead of the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank on 12 October.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding was gatecrashed by a disruptive reveller, who caused havoc as their invited guests began arriving at Windsor Castle.

One noticeable absentee will be Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, the wife of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles, as she is carrying out an engagement in Scotland.

That event was watched by adoring masses and followed by months of fawning United Kingdom headlines about the USA actress who charmed her way into the royal court.

Eugenie and Beatrice are the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who are divorced but enjoy an amicable relationship.

Besides all the royals, there will also be celebrities in attendance, as both Eugenie and Jack have several famous friends.

Italian tenor Andrea Boticelli is to perform during the ceremony, alongside musicians from the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra.

Not that anyone appears to have told the bride and groom.

The Archbishop of York wrote a personal prayer for the service but it's the Dean of Windsor who will officiate Eugenie and Jack exchanging vows.

Princess Charlotte, 3, daughter of Harry's elder brother Prince William and his wife Kate, was a bridesmaid, and her brother, Prince George, 5, a page boy.

Charlotte will be a bridesmaid, while five-year-old George will act as a pageboy.

Jack works as a drinks executive for Casamigos tequila, which was founded by Clooney and Crawford's husband Rande Gerber.

Royal wedding merchandise fill the windows - but they feature Harry and Meghan Markle, who also married at Windsor Castle in May in a spectacular, globally televised ceremony. There were also crowds of well-wishers on the streets outside the imposing castle. As Eugenie does not carry out official royal duties, republicans have said it is wrong that the estimated £2 million ($2.6 million) security bill will be paid by taxpayers. "A few people have been asking for it, but compared to Harry-Meghan, it's not that big", said Salman Khan at The King and Queen gift shop. Take a look at this map showing the Procession Route.

Erdem is the favourite to have designed Eugenie's wedding dress, with other suggestions including Suzannah and Stella McCartney.

On the day 850 guests are expected to attend the service, including most members of the royal family.
