Melania Trump says she loves President Donald Trump and has "much more important things to think about" than allegations he cheated on her with a porn star, a Playboy Playmate or anyone else.
The president's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani said in June that the first lady "believes her husband, and she knows it's untrue", but Melania Trump pushed back.
Earlier this year, accusations of his infidelity came into focus when adult film actress Stormy Daniels claimed to have had an affair with him more than a decade ago. Mrs. Trump has generally kept quiet on the subject.
Melania also said there are people now in the White House she doesn't trust and who do not have her husband's best interests in mind.
The usually private first lady, who has refrained from responding publicly to repeated allegations of her husband's infidelity, which he's denied, opened up to Chief National Affairs Correspondent Tom Llamas in an exclusive interview during her recent tour through Africa - her first solo global trip as first lady. But I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true and what is not true'. The first lady said she doesn't know why Giuliani would make such a claim about her marriage.
"It is not a concern or focus of mine".
Donald Trump, on the 2005 "Access Hollywood" tape that became public during the 2016 campaign, says when he's attracted to handsome women, "I just start kissing them".
'It's what media speculate, and its gossip. "I'm a mother and first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do. It's not always correct stuff", she said.
In her wide-ranging interview, which airs in full at 10 p.m. Friday, the first lady also addresses the infamous jacket she wore as she visited immigrant children along the border with Mexico.
President Trump has admitted to reimbursing Cohen for the payment but continues to deny the affair itself.
Though the clip doesn't include questions about her own husband's image as a bully, the first lady has faced ridicule.
This round of Being Melania is a walk-over for the First Lady. "You need to ask him".
