If liberal activists have their way, Ms. Collins will disappear from the Senate, too.
While her vote spurred criticism, Collins was cheered by Republicans including past and former presidents.
Crowdpac tweeted that it's secured pledges for more than $3 million for Collins' future opponent.
She was one of four wavering senators - including Republican Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin and Republican Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski - who would be the deciding votes on Kavanaugh's nomination to the highest court in the land.
Kavanaugh's ascendance to the Supreme Court now gives conservatives a working majority that could restrict abortion rights and halt the expansion of the rights of LGBT people.
"There is a special place in hell for women who cover for rapists", she said in an email blast after the vote.
In her Friday speech, Collins was careful to restrict her conclusions about Ford's allegation.
Where they saw opposition to Obamacare in his rulings, she saw a careful judge whose reasoning that the Affordable Care Act was a use of Congress' taxing power closely mirrored the logic that Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. would later use to declare the 2010 health care law mostly constitutional.
"In short, his views on precedent would preclude attempts to do by stealth that which one has committed not to do overtly", she said.
On Saturday night, Trump portrayed his successful confirmation vote on Kavanaugh as a reason voters should elect Republicans in next month's nationwide congressional elections, when the political control of Congress is at stake. So I think it was understandable that he was reacting as a human being, as a father, as a father of two young girls.
"I found Dr. Ford's testimony to be heart-wrenching, painful, compelling, and I believe that she believes what she testified to", Collins said. But she said there was no corroborating evidence, and indeed those Ms. Blasey Ford said were witness to the party where she said she was assaulted have all refuted her. I mean, that is a devastating allegation.
"If you care at all about women's choice, vote no Kavanaugh".
Back home in ME, the debate over Ms. Collins' future was heating up. Susan Collins said on the Senate floor.
"The threats and opposition she has faced as of late did not deter her from her duties and convictions", he said.
"I was glad that he apologized to Amy Klobuchar in particular, " she said. "If she had demonstrated the same commitment to the truth and came up with a different conclusion, I would still support her based on her efforts". "The most hard in the 22 years I've been honored to represent the State of Maine in the United States Senate".
Susan Collins of ME isn't up for re-election until 2020, but critics vowed today she'll pay a political price for voting for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
But Rice defended her connection to the state, saying at a New Yorker event that "My ties to ME are long and deep. Everybody knows that", Ms. Collins said.
Collins said she considers the crowdfunding campaign raising money for whoever might challenge her in 2020 to be an attempt at bribery.
