OnePlus has confirmed it will launch the OnePlus 6T on October 30 in NY. The confirmation comes via OnePlus official Twitter handle whereby the company has mentioned the launch timing and venue of the OnePlus 6T launch event.

Earlier, MySmartPrice discovered an Amazon India listing which suggests the OnePlus 6T preorder period will end on October 30th, prompting speculation that October 30th will actually be the release date of the new handset. OnePlus will be holding an event in New Delhi at 8.30PM IST to unveil the new phone. The sale will go live at 10:00 am IST on October 17.

Now, ahead of the OnePlus 6T's official launch, pre-booking offer for the smartphone has been revealed.

In addition, all fans who attend the launch event will get a gift hamper full of super add-ons and OnePlus merchandise. Meanwhile, a 'Notify me' page for pre-registration of OnePlus 6T is already live on Amazon.in, the exclusive online sales partner for OnePlus.

OnePlus has been surprisingly open about the upcoming OnePlus 6T, from talking about the lack of headphone jack to previously teasing the in-display fingerprint sensor.

In a recent interview, an engineer for OnePlus told CNET: "We unlock our phones multiple times a day, and Screen Unlock reduces the number of steps to complete the action". OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed this news last week. For photography, there'll be a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera setup on the back and a 16MP front-facing snapper. However, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC, the same that powers the OnePlus 6 with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Word on the street is that the OnePlus 6T will come with 3,700mAh battery, 400mAh more than the OnePlus 6 (3,300mAh).
