The phone, design wise shows little deviation from the original rather squared off design of the original Razer Phone in this render acquired by Android Headlines. While we already came to know key specifications, we will be seeing more leaks in the coming days. First off, it seems that the upcoming device will have the same 5.7-inch display as the original Razer Phone and oddly enough, it sports thicker bezels. While still retaining most of the features now found on the first generation Razer Phone.

After completing the acquisition, the company specializing in the production of video game equipment and accessories, of course, Razer promised that Nexbit would operate as an independent division focused on the design of mobile experiences, and now everything points to the new version of Razer Phone, of course, Razer Phone 2 for video games. The phone was relatively successful and a follow-up device has officially been confirmed, with whispers calling it the Razer Phone 2.

For the first version of Razer Phone, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and the 8 GB of RAM is not the most interesting thing. It has 120 Hz refresh rate on its UltraMotion screen with Dolby ATMOS and THX certified stereo speakers.

The Razer Phone was the first gaming-centric smartphone to grace the market, prompting other companies such as ASUS and Xiaomi to release gaming smartphones of their own.

Razer is sending out save-the-dates for its Razer Phone 2 event, complete with an outline for the device - the green outline in the invite below. Tell us your thoughts down in the comments.
