The former "Sex and the City" star said she has been encouraged by support upstate and in the suburbs, though New York City remains her core base.
"With anti-Semitism and bigotry on the rise, we can't take a chance with inexperienced Cynthia Nixon, who won't stand strong for our Jewish communities", the mailer sent Saturday to some 7,000 Jewish households, said.
"Larry Schwartz, who serves on our campaign in a volunteer capacity, was reviewing mail pieces in an ad hoc fashion, but he only saw the positive section of the mailer and never saw the negative section", said Cuomo campaign spokeswoman Lis Smith.
The 52-year-old candidate, who's challenging incumbent Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary on Thursday, later said it was her "go-to" and "it's pretty delicious".
