Everton struck deals to sign both Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes from Barcelona on Thursday, as well as completing a move for Brazil global Bernard before the transfer deadline.
Everton's season-long loan deal for Portugal's Gomes will see them pay 2.25 million euros and the player's wages.
But perhaps the deal fans will be most pleased with is the signing of free agent Bernard, who was out of contract with Ukraine outfit Shakhtar Donetsk.
Tickets are on sale for The 148th Open at Royal Portrush, Northern Ireland with members of The One Club guaranteed first access to tickets. I believe I will be able to show my best as a player here. This is a great opportunity for me and I am looking forward to competing here.
"The manager made me feel confident about playing here". The club reserves the right to buy back the player.
FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their thanks to Yerry Mina for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.
Mina only joined Barca in January from Brazilian side Palmeiras.
Moments later they also confirmed that Portugal global Gomes would join the Premier League side on loan.
The Toffees have announced that Brazil global Bernard has joined on a free transfer, while Barcelona have confirmed that Yerry Mina has moved to Goodison Park on a permanent basis, and Andre Gomes has made the same switch, having left the Nou Camp on loan.
Valverde had made it clear that Mina's World Cup had not forced him to change his opinion on the player and with six centre-backs as well as six non-EU players at the club, Barca were always likely to sell. Bernard wanted £200,000 a week earlier in the summer but the 25-year-old ultimately lowered demands that had deterred interest from West Ham, Chelsea and Milan, among others.
