Last week, a poster had been spotted on Chinese search engine Baidu that showed off alleged posters of the Nokia X5 in China; the smartphone is expected to get a price tag of CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,300) for the 32GB variant and CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,400) for the 64GB model. The teaser reveals that a new handset in the Nokia X series will be unveiled at the product event, which tips the launch of the rumoured Nokia X5 in China. The rumours have also suggested that the device will come with a 5.86-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The notch over the display appears to house the front camera and other sensors. If the leaked renders are to be believed, the Nokia X5's frame could have a metal finishing. Further, its TENAA listing mentions an octa-core processor, that clocks speeds of up to 2.0GHz.

In the photography department, the smartphone will most likely feature a dual-camera setup on the rear comprising 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel snappers. The cameras on the rear will come in at 13MP and 5MP with a price that will be under $150 United States dollars.

Nokia X6 arrived back in the middle of May, and now its time for the next phone from the portfolio of the Finnish brand. The phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and on the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS and dual-SIM. This phone is expected to feature an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor, besides the fingerprint scanner.

Nokia X5 could ship in 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM options, and 32GB/64GB of in-built storage. The phone is available in two variants - 4GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB internal storage and the 6GB RAM variant which packs 64GB internal storage. The company has confirmed a launch for July 11 via Weibo, which is expected to be of this phone.
