10 July 2018

The image shows off the company's range of Surface devices which mention Tuesday, July 10th as the date.

The Go retains the Surface's 3:2 aspect ratio, while the 10-inch IPS touchscreen sports an 1800 x 1200 resolution. Hardware is due to ship on August 2. The standard Surface Go Type Cover keyboard will run you $99.99, and it will cost you an extra $99.99 for Surface Pen. As for storage, you're looking at 64GB to start, but that can be upgraded on the Surface Go to 128GB or 256GB. The tablet features a 10-inch display and weighs in at just 1.2 pounds (0.54KG).

What do you think about the specifications and pricing of the Microsoft Surface Go? The device will be available in the following countries: US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Taiwan, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Malaysia, and Thailand. Surface Go is small and mighty, giving you the performance you need to be productive.

There's also a new Surface Mobile Mouse for $34.99 (around £30, AU$45), which will be available in the same red, blue, or silver color options as the Signature Type Covers and the existing Surface Pen.

The built-in kickstand is the full friction hinge seen on modern Surface Pro tablets, and it extends to 165 degrees.

The Surface Go's CPU is a 1.60 GHz, two-core, four-thread, 2MB cache Pentium Gold 4415y. The software giant kicked off its consumer hardware push in 2012 with the launch of the Surface RT.

The base model of the Surface Go that includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of SSD carries a price tag of $399.

After a week of rumors, Microsoft has finally unveiled the latest Surface model called the Surface Go. Bloomberg reported in May that the company was planning low-cost Surface tablets to compete with Apple's iPad, and next we heard from WinFuture that the device might use Intel's lower-cost Pentium chips. A 4G model will also release down the line.

One interesting addition on the Surface Go is a Near Field Sensor.

According to the information that surfaced on Reddit, the new tablet will be available in multiple versions that start at US$399 and can hit US$829, without even counting the accessories.
