This means that if you're playing the new Pokémon Let's Go titles while on the go, even in awkward places like public transport and the like, you'll still be required to move the console around - even if only slightly to line up your throw.

In a statement issued to Eurogamer, the Pokemon Company explained Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee's need for an online subscription.

The Pokemon Company did not provide details on how motion controls would work with a Pro Controller, but we're assuming that it will work similarly to how the handheld mode works in the game.

"It is not touch screen like on a smartphone because the Switch is quite a bit heavier than your smart phone."
The game can also be integrated with PPokemon Go app and transfer their Pokemon from the app to the Switch game.

Pokemon Let's Go Pickachu and Let's Go Eevee were some of the biggest announcements of the past week or so and one of the questions that came out of the announcements was whether the new games would require players to subscribe to premium Nintendo Switch Online service to be able to play online.
