George Lucas Sheds Some Light On Star Wars Sequels

14 June 2018

Hardcore Star Wars fans may be familiar with the director's concept of the Whills, immortal beings that were kind of an early version of the Force itself.

Now, with The Classic Star Wars Gamer Bundle, you can celebrate the fandom even more for the low price of $6.60 ($US5).

"If you don't like Star Wars or the characters understand that there are decisions makers and harassing the actors/ actresses will do nothing", Boyega wrote on Twitter.

Star Wars fans will now be thrilled to know that the veil has been partially lifted on Lucas' ideas for the episodes. Pick it up today for $6.60 ($US5).

Every so often, a number of Star Wars fans imagine what could have been had George Lucas had been able to make the sequel trilogy he always wanted instead of The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and the upcoming Episode IX. Tran's co-star John Boyega was the latest to voice his thoughts on the state of harassment and fan entitlement in the entertainment industry.

"You understand that there is a process so much appreciated!" he tweeted.

Just days after "Star Wars" star Kelly Marie Tran chose to leave Instagram, her costar is speaking out. And the Whills are the ones who actually control the universe.

But he was taking no shit from anyone who didn't acknowledge the cruelty of the campaign against Tran.

Boyega's statements put him in the company of actor Mark Hamill, who posted a photo of himself and Tran together, and The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, who called out trolls' "critique" of the movie as disingenuous and hateful.

"On social media a few unhealthy people can cast a big shadow on the wall, but over the past 4 years I've met lots of real fellow SW fans", Johnson said. "We like & dislike stuff but we do it with humor, love & respect".

Tran isn't the first of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi cast forced off social media.

Tran quit Insty nearly two years after her cast mate Daisy Ridley also quit the site, she too having been harangued by "fans" for expressing support for the family members of the victims of gun violence.

According to The Guardian, an online hate group have claimed responsibility for the attacks on Tran, in a since-deleted Facebook post.
