The vehicle is offered in four trims in manual transmission for petrol and diesel versions and two trims for automatic for both power trains.
The power output of the diesel engine reduces slightly when it is paired with the CVT gearbox. It gets 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines wherein the petrol makes 87 bhp and 100Nm of of power figures whereas the diesel produces 98.6 Bhp and 200 Nm of peak power figures. The Petrol manual and CVT variants would return a fuel efficiency of 19.5kpml and 19.0kmpl, whereas the diesel MT and CVT versions will return a mileage of 27.4kmpl and 23.8kmpl, respectively.Earlier, Honda announced at the Auto Expo 2018 that it would launch 3 models including all-new Amaze, Honda CRV and Honda Civic in the fiscal 2018-19. The vehicle looks bold and aggressive with the new headlamps, LED daytime running lights and new grill with a chrome slat. The ARAI certified fuel economy figures for the auto stand at 19.5km/l for petrol manual, 19km/l for petrol CVT, 27.4km/l for diesel manual and 23.8km/l for diesel CVT models. To be based on the new platform, the all-new Amaze sedan now sports all-new exterior front along with updated interiors while the engines remains untouched. The all-new Honda Amaze comes with increased boot capacity from 400 litres to 420 litres.

The side profile of the 2018 Honda Amaze features a shoulder line connecting the headlamps and tail light cluster. The vehicle will be available in 5 exterior paint jobs - a new Lunar Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.

The interior of the second-gen Amaze features a dual-tone theme similar to the outgoing model. The vehicle offers features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, auto climate control and cruise control among the others.
Powering the new Honda Amaze are the same engines that power the first-generation of this sedan. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ISOFIX child safety seat anchor points and reverse parking sensors will be standard across all trims.
