Here Are 6 of the Nuttiest Moments From Trump's Fox News Interview

26 April 2018

The President suggested that because of special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into the possibility of the Trump campaign coordinating with Russian Federation, he has decided that he will not be involved.

"Michael is in business - he's really a businessman, a fairly big business as I understand it, I don't know his business but this doesn't have to do with me", Trump said, attempting to distance himself from Cohen. Can you imagine, by the way, if you gave me the questions to a debate. "I never said I left immediately".

"I'm not your doctor, but I recommend you don't watch them", the host said, referring to the cable networks. He is GUILTY of crimes. However, he added, "I may change my mind at some point".

When Trump attacked the Department of Justice, host Steve Doocey launched into a rare push back.

The president is right that some of Mueller's investigators have donated to Democrats, but the number is lower than he claimed; nine of the 16 members of the Russian Federation team gave to Democrats, and Mueller himself was a registered Republican in 2001 when he was nominated to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Yet Trump, who has repeatedly demonized both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department leadership, also cast himself as a champion of the agency. I will wait till this is over. "It's a total, it's all lies and it's a frightful thing that's going on, a disgusting thing", he continued.

At this point, astonishingly, the embarrassed hosts ushered Trump off the phone, insisting he must be busy - likely the only time in memory a "journalist" has cut short an interview with the president of the United States. In the most stunning part of the interview, Trump said that most of Cohen's work isn't as an attorney, but as a private businessman.

"I have decided that I won't be involved. He wrote a lot of phony stuff", Trump said.

Separately, Cohen told the judge he will invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination in response to a civil lawsuit brought by Stormy Daniels, an adult film actress who says she had an affair with Trump and is trying to nullify a $130,000 payment she received for for her silence just days before the 2016 election.

"Where do they even find these people?" "It's a terrible thing, and yet I've accomplished with all of this going on - more than any president in the first year in our history".

Trump said he has a replacement for Jackson.
