Western Isles presence at Royal Wedding

20 April 2018

Looks like Meghan Markle is enjoying her last outings as a commoner by edging on breaking a royal fashion rule.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot at St George's Chapel on May 19 and the soon-to-be newlyweds have invited 1,200 members of the public to join them in the celebrations.

Priyanka Chopra has talked openly about her friendship with Meghan Markle in the past.

Grant, who is reportedly writing a book about Meghan Markle, has been outspoken in her disappointment about not being invited to the royal nuptials. "I don't think that's the problem in and of itself", Varma said. She used to work as a freelance calligrapher and held a job as a clerk, where she had her wedding invitations made, to pay the bills.

In keeping the tradition of other notable figures writing about the 100 most influential people, Sir Elton John wrote a lovely piece about Prince Harry, and "Quantico" star Priyanka Chopra paid tribute to the future princess.

Behind them, fresh out of the kiln, a sea of red and blue Harry and Meghan mugs fill the shelves below a portrait of Queen Elizabeth. They were standing on the balcony of the Buckingham Palace at that time.

"None of us has heard a word from Meg and what with all that has been said no longer do I speak to Samantha or my two sons. You're hilarious. How many designers have you said that to today?"

She added, "They need to be empowered to use [their voices] and people need to be urged to listen".

It is expected to be Her Majesty's final time opening the CHOGM as she is not expected to travel to Malaysia in 2020.
