Ubisoft Accidentally Confirmed Next Watch Dogs Title, Blame it on Sam

However, finding out about it would still be nice to know. Considering the recent appearance of Sam Fisher in Ghost Recon: Wildlands, I think Ubisoft is setting themselves up for a massive E3 show.

But what really sealed the deal (bearing in mind that this is all strictly speculation, and no deal has been sealed) is a UbiCentral video stating that Sam, the Siri-like assistant built into Ubisoft's mobile app, dropped the dime itself. Apparently the AI gaming buddy let slip info on Watch Dogs 3 when asked about a new Watch Dogs title, although this could be the random blather of a piece of technology gone wrong.

'Watch Dogs 3 is not finished yet, but from the last early build I tried it's very solid.

Clues that appear to suggest Watch Dogs 3 is in the works have been reported on. "The Dev team works wonders!"

You can see from the above tweet for video proof of concept about Sam being upfront about the game being in development and how he is eager for us to try the game out.

I can't confirm that the Sam assistant actually spoke those words (and yes, it does speak), and if it did, it no longer does: I installed the app and asked about it myself.

It's not just Sam's response that seems to be alluding to Watch Dogs 3.

Ubisoft's April fool's this year was inspired by DedSec showing the hacking interface on Uplay for few days. "Everything is connected" has been that past Watch Dogs ethos, so perhaps "This is everything" is an indication that the series could be expanding. Secondly, a message was posted on the Watch Dogs 2 Twitter account that stated "This is Everything".

The tweet, which has since been deleted, read "This is Everything".
