Ex-FBI director's book that enraged Trump out today

The simple fact is that Trump was elected and Comey was appointed.

In the interview, Mr Comey said that it is "possible, but I don't know" whether Russian Federation has evidence to back allegations about Mr Trump's Moscow trip.

For that reason, Comey told ABC News he is "morally unfit" to be in the White House.

Comey referenced the comments in his bombshell interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, saying: 'He shouldn't have done it'. He copped a plea and is now cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who has bigger fish to fry.

According to Kovalik, Comey's book reveals his political bias. We have a coarse and undignified president who is, as Mr. Comey writes, "untethered to truth." Duh.

"Yes", said the veteran federal law-enforcement officer, who past year was removed from the leadership of the Federal Bureau of Investigation by Trump. And he added there is, in his words, "some evidence of obstruction of justice".

Their war of words escalated Monday after Comey, in an ABC interview broadcast the night before, labelled Trump "morally unfit" for office. He wrote that Comey's writings "are self serving and FAKE!"

In the interview excerpt released on Saturday, Mr Comey said he did not remember "consciously thinking" about the election results as he made a decision to disclose that the FBI had reopened its investigation into candidate Ms Clinton's email use, but he said "I was operating in a world where Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald Trump, and so I'm sure that it was a factor". McCabe was recently dismissed from the Trump administration.

He was referring to Clinton's use of an unencrypted emails sever to send classified information - which Comey insists he investigated fairly.

Comey was widely condemned by lawmakers across the aisle during the 2016 election; first by Republicans after initially dropping the investigation; then by Democrats for opening it just days before the election.

Trump has denied he asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to FBI investigators about his contacts with Russia's ambassador to the United States.Trump has also used Twitter to call Comey a liar and called for his imprisonment.

Comey told Congress earlier that he and the president spoke about Flynn in private. "So what kind of marriage to what kind of man does your wife think there's only a 99 percent chance you didn't do that?" said Comey. Just another of his many lies.

In the one-on-one meeting, Comey says, Trump seemed to suggest that Comey should stop the FBI's investigation into Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser, related to his communications with Russians. Comey answered, "it's possible". Meanwhile, Syrian and Russian officials reportedly blocked a chemical weapons watchdog team from reaching the site where the suspected attack occurred.

Acknowledging that he found it "painful" to imagine that the move had an impact on the election, Comey argued that his main responsibility was to protect the public's faith in law enforcement, and in the Federal Bureau of Investigation as an independent institution. I don't know this is the time and place for Jim Comey to be making these statements.

Comey also reflected on the controversy over Hillary Clinton's personal email account. But, he acknowledged, "I was operating in a world where Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald Trump, and so I'm sure that it was a factor".

The admission led to strong criticism from Trump.

"The challenge of this president is that he will stain everyone around him", he said. "It's possible." However, Comey said he was against the idea of Trump being impeached and removed from office "because it would let the American people off the hook, and have something happen indirectly, that I believe they're duty bound to do directly" - that is, vote Trump out of office. Cohen represented Trump in offering hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels, and Hannity has called CNN's president a "porn king" for the network's coverage of the Stormy Daniels scandal. George Grow was the editor.
