She was born March 28, 1950 to the late Gordon and Jeanette (Reuter) LaBelle.

A 1950 graduate of Galveston High School, Nancy was employed at Lincoln Finance; Bunker Hill Air Force Base; Cuneo Press; Western School Corporation; and St. Joseph Hospital, where she worked in the general and emergency room admissions departments. McLennan Army Base, Anniston, Alabama. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Lucretia, daughter, Deborah Simecek, sisters, Jane Hartland and Charlotte Daly.

Her grandchildren knew her as Nanny and she spent many days and nights in Sonora, CA and Cary, N.C. caring for, playing with and cooking wonderful meals (taught by her mother, who was a fabulous southern cook). She also loved her dogs, especially Tabasco.

She loved books and was known to read three or four a week. She and Larry were involved in many businesses in the Buffalo-Sheridan area, including The Indian Campground, Top Choice Meats, Mr. R's Auto Salvage, Super Saver Inn and others. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Burnetts Chapel United Methodist Church General Fund, 1201 Burnett's Chapel Rd. Northeast, Hunstville, AL., 35811.

Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born January 22, 1936 to the late Walter S. Thompson and Kathleen Osborne Thompson. Viewing from 1 to 2 p.m., time of funeral services, Tuesday, Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209, Brodheadsville.

Private family burial will take place, beside her husband, in Malta Cemetery.

Goldie "Doris" Wedding, 90, of Port Tobacco, MD passed away at home on April 12, 2018.

Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Monday 5-7 p.m. ending with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Ray Gooch and the Rev. Terry Pleasants officiating.
