David Wagner calls for "special" atmosphere against Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace go into Saturday's relegation battle at Huddersfield Town boosted by the return to fitness of winger Wilfried Zaha.

Roy Hodgson is relishing the return of Crystal Palace's Lionel Messi figure - Wilfried Zaha. "Neither Wilf nor I can guarantee that he can find that level of form again - we hope so, and we believe he will and Wilfried Zaha will do his absolute best to show that, but I would rather not put him under that much pressure myself.when you focus the spotlight so much on one person it can be very unsafe", he said.

"There's a lot of pressure being put on him". All we want from Wilf Zaha is the desire, the determination and the character to do what we know he can do.

"Those type of players are very important as we saw in the Chelsea-Barcelona game and Lionel Messi".

"Having these guys come back has helped remove any lingering gloom there might have been, and most important of all it stops you feeling sorry for yourself, because that's a very risky thing to do".

"I think every game we're going to play between now and the end of the season will be a massive game", said Hodgson.

"We have suffered a little bit in the last few weeks from those defeats, particularly against Tottenham and Manchester United, and they are hard to take, those last-minute goals when you have worked so hard and think you have got something from the game but come away with nothing".

"This year is exceptional".

Wagner has talked up the importance of Huddersfield's home fans in helping to spur their team on this weekend, with Town losing just five of their 15 matches in West Yorkshire since earning a first promotion to the Premier League last summer. You've got your top six or seven, then you've got another six or seven that are fairly safe.
