Jurassic World game nabs Goldblum

Additionally, Goldblum tells us that this game gets "10 out of 10 Goldblums", and there really isn't a higher standard in gaming.

Jeff Goldblum revealed in a new video that he'll reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm to help players in Jurassic World Evolution, a new game by Frontier that will put the controls of a dinosaur park in your hands.

Jurassic World Evolution has, uh, found a way to rope in Jeff Goldblum.

I'm going to be with you the whole game, as Dr. Ian Malcolm - that's the character that I play in those Jurassic Park movies.

It's highly doubtful that Jurassic World Evolution will be quite that deep, but we believe that Frontier Developments may be the ideal studio to bring us a modern-day Jurassic Park game worthy of your nostalgia for the series.

In the teaser video (above), Goldblum announces that he's making his returning to the world of Jurassic Park and will be with players throughout their journey. The game, which follows in the footsteps of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis by letting players create their very own dinosaur theme park, will feature Goldblum's voiceover talents as its in-game guide. The game will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime this summer. Just don't take the dinosaurs off the island. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who's still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Him appearing in Jurassic World Evolution is a pretty big deal for Frontier, then, so hopefully the game can justify its acquisition of an A-lister.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be released in theaters on June 22, 2018.
