Manchester United's Paul Pogba trains 'a little bit' ahead of Sevilla

Jose Mourinho has underlined his trust in Juan Mata at Manchester United after his performance for the Red Devils against Liverpool FC on Saturday.

United now prepare to face Sevilla in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday. Liverpool have already qualified for the (Champions League) quarter-final and we still have 90 minutes or two hours of a big fight to try to be there.

But despite the obvious teething problems, Mourinho does not see Sanchez as a weakness in the United team.

Paul Pogba missed the Liverpool game after picking up an injury in training on Friday, and Mourinho is uncertain whether the France worldwide will be available against Sevilla.

"Seville and Brighton are more important games than Liverpool", the United manager said.

"And for sure next season will be better for him". Meanwhile, another goalless draw will send the game into extra time and potentially penalties. "Now I have only one name and that is Sevilla, I know is very hard to go through". Defeat will nearly certainly mean their cross-town rivals clinch the title that day, so maybe the end will justify the means for fans, who have no desire to watch their rivals celebrate the title on derby day. Alejandro Moreno and Steve Nicol applaud Manchester United's first-half display against Liverpool, but explain what went wrong in the second half of their 2-1 win.

Pablo Sarabia is the team's best assist-maker with nine dishes in 41 games, and the winger Nolito and the midfielder Franco Vazquez are both behind him with seven dishes apiece. His two goals against Juergen Klopp's side took his league tally to six. Many others could feel equally pleased: Ashley Young contained Salah, Eric Bailly is back, brilliant and even managed to score past David De Gea. The noise was as loud as it has been for years with rousing, primal screams of "United!" coming from the Stretford End, as well as J and K stands.

"I'm upset with the reaction they had with Scott McTominay".

Liverpool will have had a week to get over that disappointment by the time they take to the field again, with Watford due at Anfield for their next outing on Saturday. It was about time.
