Watch how 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' was originally going to begin

Galaxy's Edge is slated to open in 2019, with rides involving the ability to pilot the Millennium Falcon in a dogfight with the forces of the First Order, and another attraction set inside a Star Destroyer's hangar bay.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now in theaters. Both its global and stateside sales were enough to push The Last Jedi into the top 10 highest grossing films of all time, with a No. 9 ranking on the global chart and No. 6 on the domestic list.

Multi award-winning composer Williams, is famous for scoring all eight of the Star Wars saga films, beginning with 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope for which he earned an Academy Award for Best Original Score. While parts of the sequence did make it into the film, mystery surrounds why it was dropped from the opening.

"According to the Daily Mail, William and Harry, who are 6'2" and 6'1" respectively, were too tall as stormtroopers, who are supposed to be exactly 5'11". It sounds like it was expected that the shot would make it into the movie, but ultimately it did not. "I did personally apologize to them yesterday and said, 'Sorry you were cut out of the film.' Will was like, 'I guess I just need to work more on the skill'". Telegraph reveals one of the Princes (they won't say which) slaps Benicio del Toro's character on the butt in this scene.

Everyone at HISHE clearly had a field day looking at tons of scenes from the movie and taking them in a completely different direction.

As for why the scene was cut, an anonymous source claimed two reasons: they weren't the right height for Stormtroopers and the scene didn't fit in the final cut.

Star John Boyega broke the news about the scene not making the final cut ahead of the theatrical release. Let us know what you think about the above in the comments section below.
