ASUS Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5 lite leak spill all the beans

The company will launch the Zenfone 5 and the Zenfone Max Pro at the MWC 2018, and the flagship Zenfone 5z will see the light later this year in June 2018. But thanks to WinFuture, we now know some details about the flagship ZenFone 5, including how the phone will look like. The latest Asus Zenfone 5 Lite leak comes in the form of a live image shared by an Instagram user who has been teasing the arrival of the device.

The Zenfone 5 Lite will be the first Asus smartphone to offer quad camera setup. Alongside the Zenfone 5 Lite, we also expect the other Zenfone 5 smartphones to offer 18:9 displays and dual cameras. The setup is slightly raised and houses just the two camera lens. The teaser image posted on the company's social media handles hints the launch of Zenfone 5 devices on the show floor. All the Zenfone 5 models are expected to come with 18:9 displays on the front. The dual camera setup at the back is a combination of two 16 MP cameras, whereas, the dual camera setup on the front consists of two 20 MP cameras.

The design of Asus ZenFone 5 is minimalistic, but its screen is still there framework, although relatively small.

Asus seems to be gearing up to showcase it's Zenfone 5 range of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 later this month.

ASUS has settled for a micro USB port for the Zenfone Lite and have put the audio jack at the top.

Additionally, the Zenfone 5's recent sighting on the website of Wi-Fi Alliance has already revealed that the phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and includes WCN3980 Wifi companion chip.

According to a Geekbench listing, the Zenfone 5 Lite will have a Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB of RAM which puts it in the upper mid-range category.
