Larry Nassar Doesn't Want to Listen to Victim Statements

With more than 140 victims coming forward to accuse Nassar of sexual predation, the sentencing hearing is taking longer than most.

Judge Aquilina was defiant in her response to his complaints.

As a gymnast she was told to trust Nassar, that he would help make it possible for her to achieve her dreams.

The ranch, which is located about 45 minutes north of Houston, is named after famed gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi and has served as the official United States Olympic Training site since 2011.

Juliet Macur has been following this story for The New York Times, and she's with us now.

"All of these courageous women have power, and we will use our voices to make sure you get what you deserve: A life of suffering spent replaying the words delivered by this powerful army of survivors".

O'Brien says MSU seems more concerned about protecting its legal position in lawsuits than the victims of Nassar's abuse. Because the national team training camps did not allow parents to be present, my mom and dad were unable to observe what Nassar was doing, and this has imposed a bad and undeserved burden of guilt on my loving family. It's one of the most disgusting and horrifying stories we've seen out of the sports world in my lifetime. What did he tell you?

More than 100 women have accused Nassar, who was imprisoned for 60 years in December for three counts relating to having child sex abuse images on his computer, of sexual assault. "It happened in London before my team and I won the gold medal, and it happened before I won my Silver Medal".

"USA Gymnastics has terminated its agreement with the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville, Texas", USA Gymnastics president and CEO Kerry Perry said in a statement to HuffPost. And I'm not sure where they will go, but there are plenty of places where they could go and where they could've gone for the last several years.

MCEVERS: OK. USA Gymnastics, of course, is the governing body of this sport.

"As you know, these questions grew louder this week with the victim impact statements being given", the letter states. I thought I was going to die that night.

"And please, your Honor, stress the need to investigate how this happened so that we can hold accountable those who empowered and enabled Larry Nassar, so we can fix and, once again, believe in this wonderful sport".
