Mario Tennis Aces Revealed; Coming This Spring to Nintendo Switch

14 January 2018

Luigi, Mario's brother, will host Balloon World.

"Through unparalleled freedom of exploration in a world full of discoveries to uncover, players will become Fe and never want to leave", says EA. The game will be largely the same as the DS classic, but a new scenario has also been promised. Players will get a new playable character Funky Kong in the game. If players buy it now, they will also get a new set of avatar items.

Nintendo Switch is getting Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.

Ironically, the Switch version of Federation Internationale de Football Association 18 has received the lowest review scores out of all the current platforms. With speculation high, many are looking to see what brand new titles could be making their way over to the Big N's hybrid console - instead of just the (admittedly cool) ports. Like previous games in the franchise, "Tropical Freeze" puts Donkey Kong and the rest of his family through a perilous adventure across dozens of gorgeous, brilliantly crafted 2D levels. Funky Kong is making his return, and he comes with all sorts of insane abilities.

In "Hyrule Warriors", you can play as a whopping 29 different characters from the "Zelda" universe, including Link and Zelda. Lack of news on Metroid Prime 4 or Bayonetta 3 isn't too surprising, but we also didn't get anything about Yoshi, Project Octopath Traveler or Fire Emblem. The game is being given the subtitle Final Remix and was a vague 2018 release window. He'll first appear in a new DLC for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle in spring. No exact release date was given for the DLC, but it will be out sometime this spring.

The Nintendo Switch has now become the fastest-selling home video game system in US history. This version of the game will include the downloadable add-on Artorias of the Abyss. It follows the story Adol who is shipwrecked on a cursed deserted island with several other survivors who must create a new camp in order to survive. Basically, it means that head-to-head pricing with the Nintendo Switch proves that the PS4 can't compete. If you haven't completed the main campaign yet, you can follow along with our walkthrough, hopefully just in time for the update to arrive.

I personally am looking forward to playing action JPRG Ys VIII, the handsome and musical Fe, and mega-hard pixelly platformer Celeste, which has been given a few easier modes for people who don't want bite marks on their controllers.

It's a ladies-only affair with SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.

The new Mario Tennis Aces also features Luigi.

Stay tuned to IGN for more as it's revealed.
