12 January 2018

"I felt like it was harder for other agencies to pitch that family feel when they were working with 30 or 40 guys".

Barkley announced his decision to turn pro on December 31, a day after the Penn State Nittany Lions defeated the Washington Huskies, 35-28, in the 2017 Fiesta Bowl. He rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns in Penn State's 35-28 win over Washington in the Fiesta Bowl, and he's projected to be a top ten pick. He's considered one of the best running back prospects in modern draft history and will likely go in the top five this upcoming April.

Interestingly enough, Roc Nation also represents one National Football League head coach, Hue Jackson of the Cleveland Browns.

ESPN's Darren Rovell first reported the news.

The Penn State junior is widely rated as the top college running back available in this year's National Football League draft.

Barkley is the fourth running back on Roc Nation's Sports roster of clients, joining Todd Gurley of the Los Angeles Rams, Leonard Fournette of the Jacksonville Jaguars and C.J. Prosise of the the Seattle Seahawks.

He finished the 2017 season with 1,271 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.

Barkley has a good chance to be the highest draft pick Roc Nation has ever represented.

Barkley, who revealed his decision to enter the 2018 NFL Draft on Sunday, made his latest announcement with an Instagram post that features a picture of him with Jay Z.

Miale also represents Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, among others.

"Excited to share that I've signed with Kim Miale of Roc Nation Sports", Barkley wrote.
