UPSC Declares Civil Services Main Exam 2017 Result; Interview In February

2018 is conducted, this year to fill 100 vacancies at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, 45 vacancies at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, 32 vacancies at Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, and 225 (male candidates) vacancies at Officers Training Academy, Chennai.

Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has declared the results for Civil Services (Main) Exam which was held from 28 October 2017 till 3 November 2017. The interview is likely to commence from February 19, 2018 onwards. The scheduled date of release of the UPSC NDA & NA Exam (I) 2018 detailed notification cum advertsiment inviting online applications from candidates has now been extended by the Commission information of which is available online.

To other shortlisted candidates, the UPSC will send e-Summon or e-Call letter once the dates and schedule are confirmed.

In the preliminary exam conducted on June 18, 2017, almost six lakh candidates appeared, of whom 13,366 were declared qualified for the mains, which was held from October 27 to November 3, 2017. No paper Summon Letters will be issued for the Personality Test/Interview by the Commission. Personality Tests will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. "The date and time of Personality Test will not be intimated to the qualified candidates individually", stated a release. The roll numbers of the candidates who have cleared the UPSC main is available on the official website.

From January 18, the successful candidates will be able to download the e-summon letter for the personality test from the commission's website. A graduate in any stream and from a reputed university is eligible to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary examination.
