Facebook for the third time in the last eight years has been rated by Glassdoor as the best place to work based on employee feedback. Over the past 12 months current and former employees shared their experience at Hays, rating their satisfaction with key factors such as career opportunities, compensation, work-life balance, management, culture and values, as well as sharing any downsides to working for the company. Hohman says they each offer company cultures that are unique to them. It's perhaps best summed up by author and TED Speaker Simon Sinek: "Customers will never love a company until the employees love it first". Common themes emerge from employees' posts about those employers, including that they feel valued, they believe they are doing challenging work that delivers impact, and that there are opportunities for advancement.
Making its debut in the Glassdoor Employees Choice Awards index the utilities company went straight in at number two in the United Kingdom, only beaten by web giant Google.
