Amber Alert issued for Richardson toddler believed to be in grave danger

Richardson Police announced Saturday evening at Wesley Mathews, the father of the missing child, had been arrested and was charged with abandoning or endangering a child.

RICHARDSON, Texas- An Amber Alert has been activated for a 3-year-old girl last seen in Richardson early Saturday morning. She was last seen wearing black pajama bottoms and a pink shirt. She is three feet tall and weighs 22 pounds. They said she experiences formative issues and has restricted verbal relational abilities.

The father also told police that he knew coyotes had been seen in the area before he left her the affidavit continued.

Police say that her father last saw her outside of the family's backyard at 3 a.m., and reported her missing around 8 a.m. They also have towed the family auto to search for evidence.
